School Nurse

school nurse
Connie Funderburk, LPN

As we know Flu season is upon us, as well as strep and all the other not so nice illnesses. Here is a quick reminder of policies and procedures In accordance with the Franklin County handbook page 60 &61.

A student with an elevated temperature (101 degrees or greater) or vomiting should be removed from the school setting. The student MUST stay at home until free of vomiting and/or their temperature is normal for 24 hours WITHOUT the aid of fever reducing medication. Parents will be responsible for providing the necessary excuses for any absence due to illness.
Please be courteous in regards to keeping our children and staff well and reduce the unnecessary spread of health issues. If a child returns to school sick a call will be placed to come pick them up.
