  • Registration for summer tracks Monday Tuesday and Wednesday in the library, 3-5 PM each day.

  • Please remind students to bring their stamped, self-addressed envelope for report cards
    Only students that bring a self-addressed envelope will have their report card mailed
  • Summer school will be held in our library this year. Start date is Monday, June 4, 2018 The cost is $200 per half credit A student can earn maximum of 2 credits in summer school An application is available in the front office
  • Students should submit a signed check out form to their 1st period teachers.   • 10th graders will will take the ACT PreTest on Tuesday, May 8th 10th graders will meet with Mrs. Markham to complete demographics for the PreTest on tomorrow during 1st period in the bandhall
  • Powder Puff football game on Friday, 1:30 Admission = $2, all entry money will be collected at the gate There will be a concession stand

  • Progress reports go out on Thursday, 7th period
  • Womanless beauty pageant on Friday, 7 PM, in the new gym Those who are participating in the womanless beauty pageant- please see Dr Hargett at break.
  • Seniors, do not forget cap and gown distribution will be Wednesday at 1:30. Your cord money must be turned into receive your cap and gown.
  • Congratulations to the FFA teams that placed at the District eliminations last Friday String Band placed 1st Floriculture placed 1st Conduct of Chapter Meeting placed 2nd
    These three teams will compete at the state level in June.

Kindergarten pre-registration is today
Any senior FFA member wanting an FFA graduation cord needs to see Mr. Massey today to get one ordered.

Any male student grades 9-12 interested in being in the womanless beauty pageant- please seed Dr. Hargett today to pick up your form to complete.

  • County Track Meet is today beginning around 10:30 AM  Admission for high school students and parents is $2.00 and for grades K-6 it is $1.00.

Good morning students, My name is Ethan Ray , I am a 12th grader at Red Bay School. A few quick facts about me are....I plan on going to ICC and participating in the All American Band there next year and I can play 8 different instruments

Basketball try-outs for 7th & 8th grade is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week
County track meet will be Wednesday, April 11th Admission will $2 for high school and $1 for elementary.

  • At competition in Gordo on Saturday RBHS Band was awarded 8 trophies with all Superior and Excellent ratings. They also won best in class drum major, best in class color guard, and best in class band.  Congratulations to the band for a job well done.

  • Grades 7-12- Varsity basketball will have a scrimmage today during 7th period All tickets are $2 Money will be collect in 1st period and sent it the office. 1st period teachers will pass out tickets to students who purchase them. No student admitted to gym without a ticket 1st period teachers will email Mr. Boyd a list of students that do not purchase a ticket for roll verification for 7th period in the auditorium All students not attending the game will report to the auditorium during 7th period
  • Elementary students are welcome to attend the basketball scrimmage today.  Grade level teachers will have to arrange supervision for students that do not pay. Please do not allow any student to go to the scrimmage that does not pay Elementary students escorted to the gym will not need a ticket.  Turn in all money to the office this money

  • Students will vote for class officers in their 1st period class on Tuesday instead of today due to attendance procedures for the solar eclipse 
  • Any student who checks in should have a note from the office. This note will be printed off from Inow and is an indication the student checked in through the office and his/her check in is entered in Inow. (Basically a pass to class from the office) All check outs will be posted in Inow at the time of check out
  • Please encourage students to bring excuses when they miss school. 
  • After school program needs teachers and aides, anyone interested needs to pick up an application after school in the media center
  • Franklin County Policy for the eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017 No students allowed outside after 12:00 PM until school dismisses You are welcome to teach about the eclipse, show videos about the eclipse and stream the eclipse but no students outside any building from 12:00 PM to the end of school. This includes going from one building to another.  Any student that brings a parent note for an absence on Monday will be excused
    The absence and parent note will not count against students in any manner No attendance will be marked in Inow on Monday
    Students wishing to check out on today will need a signed parent note or parent present Please remind students that every time a student leaves campus he/she must go through the office
  • All students and teachers that have classes in an outside building, agriscience, band, athletics, etc, will report to the auditorium after lunch (12:00 PM)

  •  We will be on regular schedule today Please help me check the bells over the next couple of days and make sure they are ringing at the correct times and can be heard everywhere on campus. If you notice any issues please let me know. I know they can not be heard in the lunchroom yet but hopefully that will be remedied in a few days.
