Calendar Sept. 26-30

Mrs. Robinson’s Kindergarten

September 26-30, 2016

Our Scott Foresman story is Flowers. We will recognize the initial and medial sound of /a/. We will recognize that /a/ is spelled Aa. We will compare and contrast. Our new high frequency words will be have and is. The Genre is Nonfiction. Our amazing words are seeds, fruits, buds, stems, bloom and petals.

Go over the study sheet for the report card (on the back of this week’s calendar). I am giving this early so that you will know what will be assessed for report cards. Report cards will be checked the week of Oct. 3-7. Each child will have to be assessed individually and mostly orally so with 19 students it takes a lot of time to accomplish this along with other activities we have to do.

Monday: We read Flowers and learned different ways to make 5 in Math.
