Bio

Biography:

Dr. Hargett is a 1974 graduate of Russellville High School. Dr. Hargett received her BSN degree in 1978 from the University of Alabama, MSN in 2005 from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and obtained a doctoral degree in May 2010 from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. This is Dr. Hargett's 17th year teaching in secondary education. Dr. Hargett also works as adjunct graduate  and doctoral nursing faculty for the University of Alabama in Huntsville (2005-current). Dr. Hargett is married to Steve Hargett who has come out of retirement and currently teaching with the Tuscumbia City School System. The Hargett's have two children, Bethany and Christopher. Christopher is currently employed as a Tobacco Education teacher at Red Bay High School and History Instructor at Calhoun Community College.  Bethany who holds a degree in social work and currently works at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.  Dr. Hargett's hobbies include traveling, gardening, and walking.
